• We protect our sources. Fonkuşu does not reveal confidential sources under any circumstances. We have never disclosed a source and never will.
• Use encrypted channels. Email is not secure. We strongly recommend Signal or ProtonMail for initial contact. Do not use your work email or work device.
• You control the terms. You decide what information to share and how it may be used. We will never publish information that could identify you without your explicit consent.
• We verify independently. We will seek to verify any information you provide through independent public sources before publication. Your tip is a starting point, not a finished story.

If you or your organisation has been mentioned in a Fonkuşu article and wish to respond, we welcome your correspondence. We will consider substantive responses for inclusion in updated articles.
